KANHA SHANTI VANAM Township, HYDERABAD

Capacity : : 2.4 MLD Blue Drop Waters implemented a Natural Wastewater Treatment System (NTS) at Kanha Shanti Vanam using Aerated Constructed Wetland (FBA) technology. Since its commissioning in January 2020, it has efficiently treated township mixed use wastewater, replacing a passive wetland system. The treated water is reused for landscaping, flushing, and groundwater recharge, supporting SDG 6 (Water Conservation), SDG 12 (Resource Efficiency), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). This low-energy, nature-based solution enhances sustainability, water security, and environmental resilience, offering a scalable model for the future.
