Hybrid Flow Treatment for HITEX Convention Center

At the heart of Hyderabad’s innovation hub, the HITEX Exhibition Center in Telangana has taken a bold step toward sustainability with the installation of a 135 KLD Aerated Hybrid-Flow Treatment Wetland (HFTW) system. Designed and implemented by BlueDrop Enviro Pvt. Ltd., this project demonstrates how modern wastewater management can blend seamlessly with urban design and green infrastructure. Smart Design, Sustainable Technology The system uses Forced Bed Aerated (FBA) Constructed Wetlands, combining vertical and horizontal flow wetlands with artificial aeration to achieve efficient, nature-inspired wastewater treatment. This hybrid setup enhances oxygen transfer and microbial activity, ensuring consistently high treatment quality in a compact footprint.
